| I would like to recommend The Lakeside for a bar meal ,I went the other night and was really impressed by the food and the staff,I would like to wish the new people in charge every success for the future and look forward to a return visit in the near future.
Anybody else got any places to suggest in the area.? |

| I too have had a meal at the Lakeside recently and I have to agree the meal was excellent and the service wonderful.
I would certainly recommend the steak and the mixed meat salad, I have never seen as much cold meat as I saw on my friends plate that day.
We also went to the Kelsey Hotel at Mealsgate a few weeks ago too, the service and meal were also excellent there.
Kiddo I think this is an excellent idea as alot of the time I am at a loss for new places to try. |

| I agree with Bex, good one Kiddo 
When i think about going out i stick to the usual places, Lakeside is very good, the last time i visited The Stag at Crosby was really good, the Surf Bar in Allonby is good but i would recommend going during the week, its a bit quieter
