| | Hi Fudpucker, I can get you 2 photo's of the town. One is of from about 1890 (ish) showing the horse and carts taking the kids to the beach. It also shows the old milners shop (opp the old chemist). The other photo is of the old post office on Lawson St. If you are interested then put a posting on here and I will send them, as soon as I find them that is. Would it be possible for me to have copies of these pictures as I would like to put a page on Aspatrias-Voice of old pictures of people and places in and around Aspatria.
I will give credit to the people that send any in for me to include in the site.
I figure it might be nice to have a bit of history on the site. |
